I too will be voting a straight democrat ticket for all Florida State races. And national will be all Republican. The Florida repubs have stuck it to the public sector and will no longer get my voice.

    House Bill 5005 (contribution rates)
    Investment Plan Contributions
Changes the amount paid into Investment Plan member’s accounts effective July 1, 2012, as shown in Tables 1 and 2 below. No change was made to the 3% contribution rate paid by employees, or to the employer contribution for Investment Plan disability benefits. However, the Legislature reduced the contributions paid by employers, which results in an overall reduction of 30% in total contributions paid into Investment Plan member’s accounts.

So, there it is. Last sentence sums it up. The table being referred to is on myfrs.com, click on '2012 legislation'. How and why did this happen and why is it not being addressed or fought by our representitive(s)/leader(s)?

People need to stop blaming the Democrats and the Republicans!! BOTH PARTIES have failed this country.

Back in my younger days, being a Democrat or a Republican meant something...NOW it means SQUAT!! There is no more party responsibility. Each candidate is out for them self; they only use a party designation to qualify to be placed on a ballot.

Stop voting only based on a party affiliation and start looking at these fools past!

Its not about Republican vs Democrats, its about the Golden Rule vs Entitlement!!
