DEP LEO POSITIONS NOW OPEN

Three new vacancy opportunities have been posted on the DLE website and the DEP Careers website.* We will accept applications from all interested parties, internally and externally, during the advertisement period.* Upon closure of the advertising period, each application will be reviewed, with preference being given to applicants in the following order:

2.***** Internal promotions,
3.***** Reserve Officers, then
4.***** External applicants.*

The process will advance from step-to-step as the recruiting manager and bureau chief determine the needs of the position and the best interests of the agency.* The candidate selected to fill a law enforcement officer or investigator position must reside within 50 miles of the position's assigned location. *Appointment is contingent upon the successful completion of medical, psychological and drug screenings, and a background investigation.
