DHS vs USSS

Just stumbled this article that gives an interesting glimpse into the Service, some of the unique challenges it faces not only with management but with DHS as a whole.

I was particularly taken aback by the "there are no good stories about the Service" comment from the DHS official. Is the level of animosity between the two sides that strong?

I know. I finally went to theatlantic.com. Did a search for Secret Service. File 8390 is titled
" Inside the Secret Service". Interesting to say the least.
