    Anyone have any info if DIF is going to receive any cuts or layoffs?

    Don't worry your not getting cut. 3 spots were over 180 days and slated to be cut. People are already submitting their papers to retire because of the upcoming changes. Even more spots they won't be able to fill in a timely manner.

    The budget proposal lists 3 sworn positions that will be eliminated if the budget is approved as Scott has submitted. The line item for this happens to include that they were over 180 days (not sure where). I'm fairly certain over 180 days means they haven't been filled in the six months since originally opened.

    Looks like the take home car issue is coming home again. We have to find a way to justify the take homes. Wonder if we could create a on call system like the other agencies. Probably not. When we took on the Public Assistance people upper mamangement noticed that they did not have take home cars and our investigations are worked similarly to theres.

    You have to "find" a way to justify your take home car? It's obvious that you don't need it then. What a dumbarse public post. I hope one of Scott's people reads this.
