Willy Gort's campaign committee rented the Miami PBA Hall for the event, as they have in the past. Our Miami FOP had nothing to do with the event and did not attend.

Also the Miami PBA does not endorse candidates and is not and has never been a certified labor/bargaining organization. We believe we are the first PBA in Florida (1937) and one of the only truly Police Benevolent Associations in our Nation. We have no connection to the Miami-Dade or Florida PBA.

We do think the MPD and employees are the best and support the troops everywhere we can.

We are looking forward to seeing many of you at the Holiday Party on Wed. December 15, 11:00Am to 11:00PM, which is the Department wide turkey and pork dinner. This year the Miami PBA and MPD Staff are paying for the event. Your ticket is a RSVP and otherwise….FREE.

Also, the monthly Miami FOP meeting will be at the Miami PBA Hall on that date.

The PBA is apolitical, but the hall should not have rented to Gort at this time. None of the current commission should be welcome at the PBA, FOP or MCPBA. Now the HOA has no scruples and Regalado will be at their Xmas party because whores like to hang together.
