I'm curious why the Ledger lets its reporters write about things without thorough research, isnt that about the same as charging someone with a crime when you dont have the whole story? Glad she has moved on to another part of the world to slander someone. Or did she leave on a broom...

After reading the "Article" it seems that this Joel Chandler is the one who is, as another poster said, that Chandler appointed himself not only Judge and Jury but has sought out a "sentencing". Is this what America has come to? A man with a past (?) as a Prostitute while married and with a son, is allowed to condemn a person they say they have not met. After reading through both of Chandlers Blogs he is a very disturbed man. Comparing himself to Jesus Christ, requesting Public Records for the "fun of it and on larks"? This is what a man claims he's doing as a Public Service but seems to find no fault with a LEO that recently killed another civilian while radically driving his Police Cruiser down a dark road at night. Wasn't his first victim killed in much the same way? Where is Mr. Chandler's disgust with that act? Where is Mr. Chandler's Public Record Request for that Deputy Sheriff? Here's a reminder for Mr. Chandler regarding D/S William Schob's "accident"; his second in killing a person with his Police Cruiser:

A Davenport woman was killed Saturday night and two others injured when the SUV in which she was riding was struck by a deputy sheriff's patrol car that was responding to a call.

Just after 10 p.m., Polk County Sheriff's Office deputy William Schob's patrol car was traveling north on U.S. Highway 27 near Haines City with its emergency lights and siren activated.

Meanwhile, Puleekunnil Joseph Kurian, 69, and his wife, Moni Kurian, 63, were traveling south on U.S. 27 in a 2004 Jeep Cherokee. For an unknown reason, the SUV turned east and into the path of Schob's patrol car.

Moni Kurian died at the scene. Puleekunnil Kurian and Schob suffered minor injuries and were treated at nearby hospitals.

The article was crap but Mr you need to back the hell off of Bill. Bad things happen and neither incident was Bills fault. To put it clearly as an ex zone partner and permanent friend of his dont speak with you head in a permanent three point stance. Now as to the article about Paul the Ledger has always and will always be a load of crap not fit to use as toliet paper and I would take him as back up or follow him any day of the week.

So noted.........however, why are people from the PCSO afraid of using their names?

You must know that there are no "unknowns". And if you're afraid to tick off the wrong person then you need a different job. As for getting the heat off after reading through this forum and all the whining and complaining it appears there's a great deal of discontent in every LE Agency. That must be comforting for all the citizens in the various areas. As for you "puppet" time to cut the strings and stand on your own two feet.

Well "Who's Who", I dont see your real name at the top of your posts, practice what you preach give up your real name. And re the accident, it was just that, a horrible accident. FOR UNKNOWN REASONS THE SUV TURNED IN FRONT A PATROL CAR RUNNING LIGHTS AND SIREN. if your turn in front of a Amtrak, your gonna get hurt, it that the conductors fault??

With all the smearing going on I am curious to see if the Admin will do whats right and actually stand up for a deputy or take the low road and worry about votes and personal image. Lord knows the Admin, have never lost their tempers, belittled a deputy or citizen, had affairs, used profanity, used excessive force, or ever been involved in a vehicle crash (which by the way were always worked off the record by traffic deputies who were told to keep their mouths shut and move along). with all these angels and saints leading the agency, I know were all assured a spot in heaven. :cop:

I see a lot of complaints about the article, but no one saying it was untrue. Wasn't it based on the documents held by PCSO? Maybe you should direct your anger at the Member who brought this on himself, not those who let the public know how their money is being spent on the salary of someone who clearly, CLEARLY is troubled.

So, is all the footstomping because the public now knows? Odd.

ITS NOT TRUE. IF IT WAS IT WOULD NOT BE BLASTED BY A NON-PROFIT AGENCY AS FALSE REPORTING. I HOPE AND PRAY THAT JUDD GOES AFTER THE LAKELAND SLANDERER FOR LIES. THEY WILL DENY EVERYTHING AND BEAT AROUND THE BUSH AND POST A RETRACT ON THE BOTTOM LEFT HAND CORNER OF THE LAST PAGE IN SIZE 3 FONT SO NOONE WILL EVER SEE THEY WERE WRONG, BUT HIS IMAGE WILL FOREVER BE TARNISHED. THIS IS ENTERTAINMENT FOR US TO COME ON HERE AND READ AND VENT OUR FRUSTRATION BUT LETS NOT FORGET ITS HIS LIFE. SCHOB HAS TO LIVE WITH THAT ACCIDENT WHICH EVEN THOUGH HE WASNT WRONG STILL HAS TO LIVE WITH THAT. PAUL IS A GOOD DEPUTY AND NOONE IS EVER HAPPY ABOUT GOING TO JAIL.
