    Call their District office's

Well we have begun to have the impact we intended to have with the House and Senate leadership...they are shutting down their phones and e-mails at the Capitol...we need everyone to shift their calls to these legislators home District office's!!!! Everyone is doing a great job...but we need to keep up the pressure...so continue to make those calls throughout the day. Leave our pensions alone!!!

    Senator JD Alexander (863) 386-6016

Senate President Jeff Atwater (954) 847-3518

    Senator Mike Haridopolos (321) 752-3131

Speaker of the House Larry Cretul (352) 873-6564

    Representative David Rivera (305) 227-7630

Try shifting back and forth between the Capitol and District lines this afternoon...also send this information to any email trees you may have...

When you contact them, also let them know where they can get the $15.4 billion to cover the pension fund deficit.

There is also a senate version of a bill (senate bill 1902) that also attacks our pension plans, and as you can see guess who filed this bill? None other then our own Senator Mike Bennett! Yep, same Mike Bennett that supported and is friends with our beloved Tommy Boy. basically bennetts bill is less scary then the two house bills, however it knocks the cap down to 70% and overtime will not be calculated, only base salary. now you can see why eveyone is fixed on fighting the house bill, while bennetts bill goes unmentioned. How about we see a letter from tommy boy to his friend asking him to withdraw the bill? Will you do that for us sheriff? lets us read your letters sheriff condeming this and all bills!
