hiring process
hello,
im looking to applt to the Ocala police department soon and wanted to know some questions.
(1) how long does the hiring process take from time of application to start date if offered position.
(2) benefits? Take home cars?
(3) cost of living within the city?
(4) crime rate?
Thank you to anyone in advance for taking your time to answer.

Re: hiring process
About 5 months or so, depending on what you have in your background and how slow the city is.
NO TAKE HOME CAR,
alot of crime

Re: hiring process
There is zero support for the road guys by upper management. The CHief and Deputy Chief are running good people off and hiring crap in return. The citizens of Ocala are getting what they pay for. Don't come here run run far away and never look back, or the penguin will get you!!!!!!!
