Dalton, GA

Do any of you guys work around Dalton or do you know anything about the Dalton Police Department? My wife and I are thinking about moving to Ringgold where our family has property and a farm. It doesn't seem like Ringgold or Catoosa County are big enough compared to Dalton. Thanks for any input

They are one of the higher paid departments in the area, they have a new chief that seems to be doing a good job and seems to truly care about his guys (at least from what i'm hearing.) Technology is ahead of many other departments too. The only gripe im hearing right now is that they have a mayor and council that is constantly threatening to squash their take home car policy.
