    Five Methamphetamine Arrests

    The Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the Madison County Sheriff’s Office along with the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office, U.S. Attorney’s Office, Northern District of Florida, Drug Enforcement Administration and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives arrested five people Aug. 19 on methamphetamine drug charges pursuant to two federal search warrants.

    On Aug. 5, Jerry Franklin Sapp, Wendalyn Ann Vann, Sonya Rae Graves, Joseph Rodgers Tompkins and Mellissa Frances Williams were indicted in Tallahassee by a federal grand jury on 18 counts of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine.


    The investigation began approximately three years ago when the Madison County Sheriff’s Office received information of a possible methamphetamine trafficking organization responsible for the distribution of multiple pounds of crystal methamphetamine in Madison and Taylor counties.

    This investigation ongoing.

    I think the Perry Police Department was involved in that investigation also.

    Good Job guys. Meth starting to become a problem everywhere. This drug hurts whole familys not just the user.

    Get them all of the street.
