    Ciciotte, and another individual, are suspects in a series of vehicle burglaries that occurred at approximately 4:00 a.m. today, Tuesday, 22nd July 2008, in the area of Gantt Road and Proctor Road in Sarasota.

    Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the area of School Avenue and Ringling Blvd. to search for the subject. He was located in the 500 block of South Pelican Drive and taken in to custody.

    Nice job D2 CIB - how many times can one guy get away form you - may want to try cuffing in thr rear next time. you make us all look bad

    Thank you SPD for all your help. That was true team work between the two departments. The SPD guys on bikes looked like they were very hot and did a good job checking behind the houses. Thanks again, the best thing is that the bad guy is in jail.

    To the above poster, don't come on here with your negative attitude. You do not need D2 CIB to make you look bad. You're doing a fine job yourself.

    Let's face it: this could happen to any of us. We try to be nice to suspects to get their cooperation -- and they abuse the privilage and they take advantage of us. Hell, we've even had suspects crawl through a 7" x 7" divider window in our marked cars! These suspects are weasels!
