    Chief of Police

Yo, what's up with your chief. I listen to Michael Savge and he says that this dame hasn't shot a gun in several years. Also, what's with that murder of the father and his two kids that was caused by a gang banger? What the hell is going on in S.F?

    The SFPD Titanic

Yes, our chief, the first female chief, and the first asian female chief for the SFPD, failed to follow Department General Orders and missed her biannual qualifications for 5 years! She said that being chief keeps her very busy, yet she over saw the punishment of officers who failed to show up for qualifications, including suspending some!! She went to the range when it hit the press and the rest of her command staff were given 90 days to go qualify! She has become just a hugh joke to the troops. She couldn't even take the high road here and admit her mistake, instead of using the excuse that she was "very busy", and should had given her self a one day suspension! What's fair is fair.

As for the family that got killed, there is more to it then the road rage story the media is playing. The father was an OG, but had not led the gang life for a long time, but there is a chance words were exchanged and that the shooter mistook him for still being in the rival gang. Who really knows right now.

Our city is in crisis. The mayor and our wacky board of supervisors have run us into a financial mess and want us to help bail them out by giving up our raises!! Screw that! Murders, shootings and robberies are up, but all violent crime, as a whole, are showing as going down!! We are more afraid of our civlian review board, The Office of Citizens Complaints (OCC) and our own Police Comission then of the criminals. They will find you guilty with the least amount of evidence (they only need to prove us 50.1% guilty, more likely than not). They violate the California Peace Officers Bill of Rights all the time and have alreadly lost several cases on appeal and have had to pay back wages to several officers!! But some have lost jobs because of this crooked system! So most SF officers do the "No Contact/No Complaint" method of law enforcement: meaning have as little contact with the public as possible, don't be proactive, and only respond when called to the high crime, poor areas of the city. As a result the criminals are not getting caught at the rate that we used to catch them (arrests down 50%!).

We have no faith in the Command Staff because they do notihg to improve any of the above and do not stand up for the cops when the Comission is obviously violating our rights!! They only seem to be concerned with their next promotion.

It is sad what has happened to a once great department over the last 5-7 years........................

SF is a PERFECT example of what happens with feel good bleedingheart liberals are in charge of a police force. The officers know that if they are proactive and go after the worse of the worse their chances of loosing their jobs to some civialian review board goes up. If you were a cop in SF with a family to feed you would do what many do and do as little as possible to stop crime, only responding to calls not actively patrolling for crimes in progress.
Guess what, they give cops guns, baton, tasers, pepper spray, combat boots, etc becuase they need to be used from time to time. Criminals are violents and crime is up in SF yet the mayor and supervisors are more concerned with making criminals feel all warm and fuzzy.
We need Dirty Harry style policing in SF.
When a cop strikes a career criminal drug dealer who is armed with a bat in the shoulder with a baton, the people of SF, at least the bleeding hearts, assume the cop is in the wrong and crap on him NOT the armed career criminal. What a joke SF has become, no wonder the real cops are just riding out their retirement or leaving for better agencies.
