I removed a couple posts from this topic that were violating terms of use and in doing so I accidentally split a post from the topic that I wasn't supposed to. You can veiw that post under"ok" on this forum. Thank you to MOD 1 for banning the person who impersonated Sergeant Solowsky's father. It is a shame to see that we are not capable of learning from our mistakes in Lauderhill. I urge everyone to read the post on the main forum marked "Terms of Use".

This is a post I previously posted. As you can see, someone impersonated Sergeant Solowsky's father. That is a clear violation. The next post had profanity in it. The post after that one did not violate terms of use however the author of that post quoted the previous post containing the profanity.

Now about DS, no details of the I.A. investigation were posted. It definately upsets me that AW is on the receiving end of a bashing session however as long as they are keeping it clean and not violating terms of use, I cannot do anything about it. Anonymous posts do not have the same rights. On top of all this, no one to date has complained to me about any particular post about AW or DS. Feel free to read the terms of use and re-read the posts about AW and DS and let me know if I am wrong. I have no problem admitting when I am wrong.

I ddn't see any negative posts about AW. Whats he done now? Hes one of the few that wll answer his phone on his night off when called upon for help. For christ sakes, I called him at 3am last year and needed his help with a big arrest. I expected him to help me over the phone. Instead, he showed up at the station and helped me with the entire arrest, He then slipped out before the sgt read the PC and signed. He could have taken all of the credit for writing a damn good PC but he let me take it.

Ya, he could be moody at times but hes an awesome cop and actually cares for his people. Hes answered his phone even when the background noise made it obvious that he was out.

I thought this was all about PW. Petes a standup guy and its a honor to know that he works for the LHPD.

Ok Mod, so if I create a fake name and write a post that meets the terms of use, you cant delete it but if I write an anonymous that meets the same terms you can delete it? You deleted a post I (anon) wrote about GS that Im willing to bet met the terms of use....Now as for DS dont you think that since its still an OPEN IA complaint, that he should be given the courtesy of having those posts removed from here so that the public who can log on here doesnt have access and can find out, his name was mentioned not just his initials!!! That way hes not "tried" in the public opinion before hes found guilty pr innocent?? Once the investigation is concluded, doesnt it then, and only then, become public record? Or am I wrong?

I refuse to go back and forth with you. This is the last post from me concerning this. Obviously you enough time on your hands to come here start trouble but you do not have enough time to check the terms of use for your self. I have told you and everyone a multitude of times to read it.

Now for the last time, if you register your information you have more rights. Meaning we will not just remove your posts for no reason. We can still remove them if they violate terms of use. Now if you post anonymously (meaning you do not register), your post can be removed at any time. I will most likely not remove an anonymous post unless it violates the terms of use anyways. You are free to re-write the post you left about GS if you just be mindful of the terms of use that I hope you will read before you post again.

As for DS, I fully understand that there is an active I.A. involving him however nobody posted any of the specifics on this case. Rest assured that if they do, I will remove those posts immediately.

So, just to re-cap. When you post, do not impersonate and do not use profanity. Your posts have less rights if they are anonymous. If another post violates terms of use and you quote that post, your post will be removed along with it. If a particular post offends you, send me a message or leave a post on the Lauderhill Forum under the thread, "abusive and anonymous posts" and I will investigate it.

That is not the entire Terms of Use. You can't just cut and paste part of it to make it say what you want it to say. It is the whole Terms of Use that is considered when a Post is deleted or removed, not just that section there.
