It wouldn't matter if we found a ton of dope. The bottom line is unless our collective bargaining board does something we are all screwed. If the problem is with our executive board then they need to be thrown out of office and a new board elected by the collective bargaining membership to take their place.

Why can't an extra dollar or two be added onto the inspection cost of oranges or tomatoes, then place that money into a trust to fund raises?

You will never be allowed to fund raises by charging violators more in fines. The FHP bill which is now dead would charge a person extra to get their suspended license reinstated. The officer has nothing to do with if a person's license is suspended. For violations of tomato or citrus inspection we set the bond on the ramp, that would be a conflict of interest for us to take part of that money for raises. The funding source has to be something we have no control over or hand in charging.
