FOP DEMONSTRATION THIS THURSDAY FEB 28TH

The Miami Police FOP will be having a demonstration this Thursday at 900 hrs at Miami City Hall.
Even though the proposed Miami Marlins Stadium will be in our jurisdiction , the PBA is attempting to secure all special events for Miami Dade Police Officers.
It is imperative that we show our support for our fellow brothers and sisters in blue. We look forward in seeing all of you there.

UNITED WE STAND, DIVIDED WE FALL!

Get your walking shoes out of the closet!

Ahhhhh nothing like a good protest to end the month.

I have all of the respect in the world for John Rivera but this time he is way out of line. We’ve worked the Orange Bowl for the last 70 years and we are not about to give the site up. It’s not a matter of greed it is a matter of pride. The venue is in our jurisdiction, we control the streets, we know the people, and the name of the team will be the Miami Marlins.
I know the county has a little cop envy (they did rename themselves) but I think we need to remind them who runs this town. We need every cop to show up at 3500 Pan American on Thursday and demand to have city cops working venues in the city.
Even if you never plan to work a day at the new stadium show your support for you brothers and sisters who want or need the work. It’s a matter of principle and it’s a matter of pride.

    See you on Thursday.

Its the Commissioners Meeting. Media will be there. Its important. If the county gets the marlin's stadium, the AAA will be next. We can't work clubs, county water and sewer/county road jobs maybe gone soon.

If they get the Marlins and we get the outside, think of this. Every time they push out the problems inside the stadium, we will be the ones having to clean up the mess.

The new people on the job care as they don't make as much as someone 10 years on. You don't need the extra money? Support those who need the money. Besides, you never know when YOUR circumstances CHANGE, and you need extra cash for your wife's car repair, tires, family illness,etc.etc. The land belongs to the city and city cops and fire fighters who need extra income should get the job. And they hate their new name. The dept didn't change their name, the politicos were tired of hearing Dade County? where is that? So, they shoved MIAMI-dade down the brown clowns throats. You don't need the job, help a cop who does, and thank your God, you don't need to deal with A-holes on your day off, for more money for you family.

BE THERE EVEN IF YOU DON'T WORK THEM. BE THERE FOR YOUR OWN PRIDE. BE THERE TO HELP YOUR BROTHER OFFICER. F@#K THE COUNTY. NO BROWN CLOWNS IN THE CITY.
