Another unnecessary project in crime prevention I guess.

I never heard anyone say the Haley House was an unnecessary project.

I don't want this to turn into a crime prevention witch hunt.
According to Chuck, no on duty deputies should be used during fund raisers for disabled veterans because it is not law enforcement related.
Let Crime Prevention do whatever they want because it is obviously working ok.
    Im just saying..

So the fact that LEO's are being used for stuff other than LEO stuff is ok but it depends on the political correctness. Not the fact that there are LEO's doing none LEO stuff?

I must admit that if this agency has gotten to the point that we are so short handed that detectives have to work a zone, training is canceled and calls are being held for long periods of time, then anything that is not law enforcement related should be looked at under the old microscope.......this even includes providing deputies with their time flexed to events like parades where seats are sold and people are making money. After all, one parade is a drunk fest in which these people drive to and from the event.....and isn't DUI prevention something Sheriff Gee prides this Office with?
