    Please help an officer's daughter

A Boynton Beach Police Officer's 8-year-old daughter was diagnosed with Leukemia this weekend. She is in desperate need of O- (negative) blood.

All blood or blood related donations should be made as "In Honor of Margret Schoenfeld” Without direct donation; the blood simply goes into a pool, so this is imperative. She is registered at both South Florida Blood Banks for direct donation.

The community blood center will have a bloodmobile at Boynton Beach City Hall on Wednesday at 0930 hrs for O- negative whole blood donations.

Below are links for local blood banks.

Thank you in advance for your support. God Bless.

    Applebee’s 1570 Boynton Bch Blvd Tues, 9/25 6pm-8pm

You’ve gotta eat anyway… so why not stuff your face for a good cause?

The Boynton Beach Police will be acting as “celebrity servers” at Applebee’s (1570 W. Boynton Beach Blvd.) on Tuesday, Sept. 25, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. All tips and 10% of each food bill will benefit the Margaret Schoenfeld Fund. 8-year-old Maggie Schoenfeld, daughter of our very own 19-year veteran officer Steve Schoenfeld, is bravely fighting leukemia. The ordeal has been a strain on both Maggie and her family. The B.B.P.D. has planned this event in cooperation with generous support from Applebee’s to raise money in order to aid the Schoenfeld Family.

Meet Art Metrano, (star of the Police Academy movies), Mike Rumph, (former Saint Louis Ram’s Cornerback) and GANGBUSTER!

We will be “serving and protecting” in a whole new context Tuesday night… come out and ask a cop to bring you a doughnut without fear of arrest. You know you’ve always wanted to ask us for one!

Please share this e-mail with those who do not have access... and thank you EVERYONE for your support.

    Respectfully,

    Lt. Jeffrey S. Katz

    Professional Standards Commander
    Administrative Services Division
    561.742.6194 office
    561.742.6847 fax
