Reality Bites
Just because you say you won't quit (remember "straight ahead...move forward...etc.) doesn't make you some great leader.
It just validates what people have said who know you.
Old, brittle, A guy who has NO LIMITS.
Whether it is consistently, changing positions, then revert back to the original one, and claiming that you are dicipline-free at PBSO, a retired PBSO Lieutenant, for the safe of your family, he did that, because he is a compassionate leader. He could have said, "No Pat, you have not passed probation, enjoy retirement, Sergeant." But, he didn't, did he. BTW, that is considered in most circles "a gift."
About your record on filing complaints to avoid responsibility.
You never detailed what you accomplished at PBSO or what you best contibutions were. Why don't you finally answer this question? What are your accomplishments at PBSO or best lasting contributions?
Let's face it. If you want to go thru all of this. Fine. Your loss of energy and quality of life. Your money. Your time.
Just remember, in 2008, you will still be retired from PBSO and Ric Bradshaw will still be Sheriff.
Oh, one more thing.
The question recently has been repeatly asked of your record regarding an incomplete felony file from years back. What was the incident about?

A guy who has NO LIMITS to how go.
Whether it is consistently changing positions, then revert back to the original one, and claiming that you are dicipline-free at PBSO, claiming to be a retired PBSO Lieutenant, when the true fact is you were demoted, but begged the Sheriff to consider letting you keep the rank of lieutenant if you decided to retire imediately, for the safe of your family, he did that, because he is a compassionate leader. He could have said, "No Pat, you have not passed probation, enjoy retirement, Sergeant." But, he didn't, did he. BTW, that is considered in most circles "a gift."
You mislead and change positions about being a Vietnam Veteran,
about your record on filing complaints to avoid responsibility.

You are a OLD BIRD.

Now Pat
Since I have known you since the day you were hired, let us be very clear about one thing. You BARELY made it out of FTO. Then you went to the slowest Sub in the Sheriff's Office besides the Airport. You lacked credibility then, as you do now and you should consider yourself very lucky to have been promoted to Sgt. why on earth would you want to be Sheriff? Nice enough as a person, but no way do you deserve to be the Sheriff of this county or a supervisor to the fine men and women who work at PBSO. Nice dream for you, but it would be a certain nightmare for them. The only solace I can take in all of this is that you havent a chance of ever being OUR Sheriff. Now go see if you can get someone, anyone, to give you a clue.
