Just when you think JH hasn't thought of another way to torment the "backbone of this agency," we get this stupid 'pilot program'. No more 5/6s, only 6 o'clock shifts and a midshift.

Because that's going to reduce overtime and response time to calls. A whole shift getting off at 6 o'clock is going to be in a fiery rush to clear those calls on screen at 530 after working 11.5 hours.

Must be hard sitting in that office with your McDonalds, working 8 hour days, making 200k a year, and just absolutely railroading the road.
