SPD Get one Big "Black Eye"!
Outside S.A. has Zimmerman arrested for 2nd Deg. Murder using the same evidence the Sanford PD had and failed to act on.
Having no balls to arrest Zimmerman and letting a Judge/Jury make the final ruling has cost the SPD the respect we had and worldwide scorn.
Don't tell me any BS about local SAO telling Homicide to hold off....Homicide can make an areest and let the SAO drop charges. Now you know the reasons an arrest should have been made.
The SPD needs to have a rally at the Zimmerman scene asking the world to forgive them for being such weaklings and telling them in the future any non-black who shoots/kills a black person will be arrested…no matter what the law says!

Interesting opinion, however the S P D can never recover from this screw-up.
Zimmerman gets to sue us when he gets cleared and the world will never forgive our shabby handling of a simple case.

Have either of you actually read 776.012? If you did, did you actually comprehend what it said and what it means? Obviously not! The Sanford Police Department did EXACTLY what 776.012 specifically states they HAD to do! They investigated the incident and found NO probable cause that disputed Zimmerman acted in self-defense. Therefore, they did exactly what statute says the must do. Specifically; in the course of the investigation, there is probable cause that supports the defendant used justifiable force, deadly or not, you are PROHIBITED by statute to arrest or charge them with a crime! The only mistake the Sanford Police made was that they had piss poor media relations. Therefore, the media did what they always do, get second hand information and blow it all out of proportion. I gaurantee if the person's name that shot Martin, was Hector Gonzales, you would have never heard anything more about this case.
The special prosecutor (what a fricking joke she is) has no more evidence than the Sanford Police has. In fact, she needs to be criminally prosecuted because she failed to file all evidence and facts of the case with her affidavit, which she is required to do by law. No pictures or mention of the injuries sustained by Zimmerman or anything else that supports his claim because it is to damning to her case (if you can even call it that). She should have taken ALL the facts and evidence before a grand jury, but instead, due to SOCIAL pressure and her wanting her 15 minutes of fame, she chose to charge him. What a stupid *****!
I find it very interesting that at the bond hearing for Zimmerman, using the special prosecutors so-called evidence, the defense attorney got the lead investigator to admit on the stand that "They have no evidence to disprove Zimmerman's claim that he acted in self-defense." End of case right there! The judge should have right then and there granted Zimmerman immunity from prosecution and civil action as called for by statute.
Once this is all over and done with, the special prosecutor will be out of a job and Zimmerman will be acquitted. He should then turn around and sue the State for failing to follow the law and letting social pressure dictate the State's actions and over-ride the laws that are on the book!

Guilty or not guilty does not matter. The SPD will forever be labeled as an incompetent
PD that failed to see politics will always beat professionalism.
Have to admit the SPD got this title on just one case. The Miami PD didn't get nailed (recent DOJ smack down) until they killed 7 black males.
So lets all get together and remember going forward:
If a white citizen or white PO kills a black who doesn't have a gun and he is a good boy? , arrest the shooter and let the white people (LOL) raise hell, demonstrate, etc.

Why doesn't the Chief just grow a set and next time apply a lesson learned: Whenever the turd polishing CM interferes in another investigation, go straight to the media and tell it as it is.

The Miami-Dade County School Police is who should be sued here for not doing their job and setting in motion all of these events.
