Well there's a good track record of promoting Rick and Tom's buddies, there should be plenty of them to bring in to rebuild

Why is there a worker shortage at FDLE? It's simple! RS came in as Commissioner 6 or so years ago with the absolute arrogance and lack of experience in leading and ran the Agency through his trash!
He came with a "screw seniority" attitude, "promote friends and buddies" mentality, and put the good old boy network in full operation. Ran by authority and kept employees on eggshells and with the fear of targeting or coming after them!
The way he treated employees was very short sighted!! He destroyed peoples futures in some cases, made people feel worthless, and pushed an agenda of dictatorship. Now so many good employees have left or retired that in a worker shortage it's hard to fill anything with qualified people. You know, because you treated all of those long-term employees that were making shitty state salaries years ago like pieces of shit and they were the ones who were truly making the sacrifice to the state and the citizens of Florida. Those that had worked hard to serve, risk their lives, and put themselves in the trust of leadership were shit on by Rick.
And this was certainly the way Rick's leadership has worked, with Rick at the top.. and when things were mentioned about employee treatment, it appears that Rick only cared about leadership and the big eaters at the top.
Now this mentality has sunk it's teeth in, and all of the leadership will continue with this even after Rick is gone in my opinion.
Those that are good workers that could leave HAVE LEFT.
Best of luck to anyone risking entering the work force at FDLE now.
Rick has his retirement. So does Tom. That's all that matters to them. How good they have it, and what a piece of crap everyone else is.
Too bad that one decision made by a person who committed the largest health insurance fraud scam in the history of the U.S to put Rick in charge will have lasting effects on people and an Agency..
