At some point the Mayor and BCC will have to remove the current command. MDC residents deserve more. The county cannot running with police leaders not doing their jobs.

Well, seems that Mayor Cava is either ignoring the lack of leadership in MDPD, or she is as asleep at the wheel as our current command staff.
What a disaster this department is. Chiefs fighting against chiefs, AD’s undermining each other, Majors not allowed to make a decision and secretly being told what to do by a Sergeant PAV, and you guessed it.......The juvenile coward Director doing anything possible to avoid his command staffing fear of having to take responsibility for anything that goes on.
Woooohooooooo Madam Mayor. Banana boat leadership at its finest.

She is well aware of his incompetence. Just listen to him speak, It’s hard not to see.
She just can’t afford a change at the moment. With FR, she can be sure that no work is being done, and that is much safer for her right now.
Bring in a new competent Director and he/she would have to turn the place upside down to make it a functioning department again.
Cops would actually go back to doing their jobs. This would be very good for cops and the department, but very bad for the “play it safe and stay out of the news” current political position.
Much safer to keep the terrified school boy Director FR hiding under his desk.

We have to do a vote of no confidence in the PBA first in order to move forward

I’ve never seen so many unhappy people who make 6-figure salaries. Anyone here who is dissatisfied with their current working conditions should quit and go join a different agency. Save us all of your *****ing and moaning and better your life somewhere else. Let’s see how many of you have the fortitude to back up your words.
