1 more shift left to retirement and he gets killed by some douchebag....RIP Corporal
Thanks TPD for helping with the escort. It was a sea of blue as far as the eye could see.
He was a great guy. A great leader. One of the very few last of the old school bosses that actually looked out for his people regardless off the fallout. He did not just allow his troops to be send to every call under the sun just because idiots decided to call us for everything and felt their problems were now our problems. He didn't let these inbred people overwhelm his troops or make them run around like chickens with their heads cut off. He canceled BS calls and if his troops responded to a call, it was truly necessary. How typical. One day left, plus a good leader, a dad, a husband, and 30 years of babysitting these thankless people. I hope you anti cop scum out there are happy.
RIP brother
Rest In Peace. God Bless you.
My dry sense of humor ....i got from him. Brian you will be truly missed. Caitlin I hope you come work with is in SC . Your dad was our dad or big brother. Damn this hurts!
Heartbroken when I heard the news. Sounds like he was one of the good ones. Why does it always seem to happen to the good ones?

I am sorry to hear of your loss and I pray for Cpl LaVigne's family and may he Rest in Peace. It was with great sorrow and anger that I read the news of your loss last night. It really tore through me when I read of his years of service and the fact that he had 1 shift left until retirement. What a great loss to your agency and to his family.
I will hold my thoughts on the suspect.
