Auxiliaries working details

Are your auxiliaries allowed to work paid details if available?

I really don't think so since our auxilliary deputies aren't paid to start with. There are a FEW part time deputies that used to be full time fully certified but left to pursue another career but still work paid because of the short staffing.

Too bad. I'm retired and don't want to work F/T. But working for free with a chance for paid extra details is what I'm looking for.
