Anyone else notice alot of withdrawn appointments lately? What did they do??

01-05-2007, 04:07 AM
like it says in the e-mails, you are free to go to PRB and look at the files.

01-05-2007, 09:25 PM
Wouldn't it be nice to know though before your friends and family do by way of the Naples Daily News? That seems to be the source of ANY information without going to PRB to sit and read while being video taped.

2 answers....internet porn and believing a polygraphist is here to help you....dead ends in the ccso

What is a “Dead-end” at CCSO is not following the policies. It is not hard to go to work, do your job and go home, all the while, collecting a paycheck every two weeks.

As far as how we are notified that someone has stepped on the end of their pee pee and has been fired, it all starts with the email that states that so and so appointment has been withdrawn. It is not until weeks later does it hit the NDN. Even then only a few hit the paper. Then when I read the article and learn of the facts, all I can do is shake my head in disbelief from the embarrassment and then for their stupidity…what were they thinking?

I do not know about anyone else but I am glad the Sheriff withdraws their appointment without waiver. I think the system we have works pretty well and there is no question in my mind that the ones who were fired have no one to blame but themselves.

As I said, it is not hard to do your job and go home. It has worked well for me the past 15 years and I do not see why it will not continue to work that way for the future.

I've always been told and agree with the statement of "the sheriff doesnt fire anyone, you fire yourself." Dont do anything that would ge you fired and you have nothing to worry about. I would LOVE to see everyone do their job and behave, but i rather see people get fired and have that in the newspaper than have an article about a deputy that did something totally crazy and still on the job cause were corrupt. Everyone has problems, were dealing with humans, but its how you deal with your problems that shows whatkind of an agency you are.

05-16-2008, 01:57 PM
How do you think, Rookie, that those BAD GUYS on the street got their criminal record BEFORE you came around. Us, "cheesehunters" have been nailing their a--es well before you even thought about it.

I gotta peeeeeeeee

dont really remember what the subject was not,,,been too busy laughin'. OK,,now that we've all peeed,,,,settle down rook, my ID number is so secret I dont even remember what it is. But, the issue is this, almost all of the people in the uppers (I'm not in the upper) were on the street, making cases that would stick, because they were real, well before most of the people onthe street now. You didn't invent the wheel, nor did we. We just kept up the grease job, kept the wheel moving, just like you're doing. Probably the only ones in the uppers that dont remember what it feels like to be punched in the mouth or #1 and #2. Everyone else does. Try posting something positive if you can, it might help our cause. In answer to your first issue, PRB does not and will not hold cases because of the election, we're slow by nature. We dont like to make mistakes. Have nice day Rook.

I can only assume that the "grocery getter" and "fat jimmy" comments were intended for me. Sorry, I am not "cheeseplug" or "cheesehunter."

Correct me if I am wrong but aren't rats just like mice...aren't they lactose intolerant? Meaning they don't really like cheese? If I remember correctly, they prefer vegetables and fruits.

Thanks for the trivial pursuit wisdom, Mrs. Literal. The cheese reference was a figure of speech. PRB isn't really the "rat squad;" they help more than they hurt. That being said, they need to take it one step further and insure that every idiot that comes in that files a FALSE allegation against one of us goes to jail.

I never said PRB members were "rats" and yes they do help us. I agree that people should be charged with a crime for false reports against police officers/deputies. You guys/gals have a hard enough job without someone making something up and causing a problem. You guys/gals do a wonderful job here in Collier County and there are plenty of us who appreciate you! Continue the good work and stay safe! :)
