Morale is good except for this web site which cuts into our relationships at work and with other agencies. Overtime is "a" pleanty with 4 hour blocks sitting at Largo Med along with a bunch of traffic and special event details. Our overtime rate is just that, not a straight wage. So $ is not bad. Retention has gotten a lot better. The only thing we continue to fight for is take home cars.

Do we have one or two officers that do not know what the thin blue line means? Yes. Does every agency? Yes. Do most of us do our jobs well, make some good cases, and go home at night with a clear concious? Yes.
Are there some imposters on this site? Yes. Is this site open to the public? Yes. Are there better forums to discuss serious issues? Yes.
