JUST GOT THE CALL--HIRED

Just got the call from Lee county and starting the academy Jan 8 wow what a long process.

Congradulations! if you dont mind me asking, you start January 8th in the academy, do you remember when you sent in your first initial application. Just wondering how long it took, thanks!

wow, compared to NJ thats quickas hell. The NJSP hiring process is 18 months, and the local departments are up to 8 months. Moving down there mid january means i have hope for the next academy, the spring one.

I was a trooper in NJ for 2 yearsand a local dept for 3 years, they cant do anything close to what the troopers did to us at sea girt SP academy. You cant go wrong going with Lee the new young blood sheriff is doing great things with the dept we can see it just on my side of town as a home owner.
