To the PBA leadership HCSO and TPD chapters,
If you pursue this ridiculous legal action any further in reference to the LEOAffairs website and attempt to censor the officers and deputies that you represent from expressing their discontent with you lack of ability to successfully negotiate the contracts of these two agencies, I will immediately withdraw my membership from the HCSO law enforcement chapter and will encourage fellow HCSO deputies to do the same. As you know, the HCSO law enforcement chapter is still only in the 60 percentile which is dangerously low and your ability to further recruit new members will be severely compromised.
I suggest the PBA staff spend their time in more important matters, such as answering the question why didn’t you initiate negotiations earlier in reference to a better health insurance plan for the current and retired TPD officers. TPD officers voted that terrible
first contract down by a two to one margin, which reflects horribly on your lack of knowledge of what actually concerns the officers of TPD and mostly likely the deputies of HCSO.
Your agency is not the Sheriff or the Mayor. Remember you can be replaced and your powers exist only at the discretion of the members that you represent.
One would think that the PBA would have learned its lesson from the HCSO lawsuits.
