I was gratified to see our people were early on the scene at the shooting of the Polk County deputies. Our helicopter was seen on TV as were many of our ERT people and a lot of our marked units.
Curious to know if any of our people, particularly ERT, were present at the "apprehension?"
In any event, it was a great demonstration of unity and brotherhood at a critical moment.
The loss of Deputy Matthew Williams and the wounding of Deputy Doug Speirs were tragic.
Another reminder to "Stay Safe."
