Quality neighborhood in Tampa ?

Hello. I' a recent retiree from Miami Beach P.D. and am thinking of relocating to the Tampa area. I have a brother who lives in Westchase and it seems like a very nice area. I was looking for a little larger size lots, so he showed me the race track road area, south and east of the driving range. It looked nice. Just wondering hows the crime and neighborhood? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

Very nice area. You can go to www.hcso.tampa.fl.us (http://www.hcso.tampa.fl.us) Once there click on Inquries online. Look for the link to CRIME. You can enter the area you are looking at and get back the types of crimes and the rate.
