I know you guys can only carry 9mm and aren't allowed to carry backups, but what about AR's can you carry them ?

You can carry your own AR. It has to be from an approved list, Colt, Rock River, Bushmaster, Olympic, and I think a few others.

9mm handguns only, Glock are issued but you can carry your own Sig or Beretta.

9mm or 40cal?
