go downtown to spend money but be aware of the Tenderloin district which is nearby. Head to Fisherman's wharf but don't expect much variety in food. Go into the North Beach District and enjoy the sights, sounds, tastes and smells. Enjoy yourselves and wave to the men and women in Blue :-)

Ybor Guy:

I live in Valrico, but my hometown is San Francisco.

Don't eat anything at Fisherman's Wharf: it will cost you an arm and a leg.

You will find good food on the western part of Geary and also Clement, west of Park Presidio Blvd. Also, North Beach. Chinatown is good for a walk through, but the food is very expensive and not that good any more.

After dark, stay away from South of Market, The Tenderloin, the Western Addition, and the Bayview/Hunters Point. Parts of the Mission District are not too safe either.

IF you want to e-mail me directly, it's a57chevypreterist@yahoo.com I'll be happy to answer any questions I can.

Have a good time!
