ONCE AGAIN OUR PATHETIC REACTIVE DEPARTMENT HAS TO REACT!
BRADENTON, Florida [NMT] -- The Manatee County Sheriff's Office reported a deadly shooting Sunday night at about 9:00 p.m. at 5645 15th Street East, the location of Mi Casa Bar & Grill.
Two Hispanic men were struck with multiple gunshots during an altercation in the parking lot. One victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The other was airlifted to Bayfront Medical Center in serious condition, according to Randy Warren, a spokesman for the sheriff's office. Neither man has yet been identified.
Witnesses told detectives that two Hispanic men fled the shooting in a dark, possibly green sedan.
As of 11:15 p.m. Sunday, detectives had a suspect in custody, but NewsManatee has not been able to confirm that the suspect is the man who shot the others, or his identity.
