Circuit 1 our history makes yours look tame, CA wise...you've heard about it in the past, then we had a decent or 2 but now we are right back to the one who got fired. The present is getting cranked up, it is mighty hot and talk about admins who won't make a decision other than to try to make themselves look good. We had a wpso retire last year put together a party for her, collected money, got her a plack etc. Cicuit did not contribute, showed up turned it into a photo op and took the whole thing over because they stuck a camera in someones hand. They sell everyone down the river because they are so afraid to tell the truth.
We had a staff meeting about 2 weeks ago and were told we have to do PCI's every month and also we have to work 8-5 unless we are doing field work. I was in court last week from 9am to 7pm. They keep telling us we are the best and then they turn around and harass us with their nonsense. Don't even think about 99% of your contacts 100% or discipline

they were forcing certain officers such as cc ones to do them in ours but supposedly they cant do that anymore and it was relayed to us that they were voluntary for now on for every officer even so called essential staff like CC. They said this was after people making complaints with PBA and up the chain supposedly.

Whats a pci?

They did the same thing in my circuit about a year ago- it was with both specialist and cc- after a bunch of people complained, we were told it wasn't mandatory. I stopped going because I was tired of making contacts for the specialist who never participate in anything...it fizzled out pretty quick and we haven't had any since. We still have quarterly pcis. For iffoa, a pci is a planned compliance initiative- in layman's terms... you go out in teams (other DOC and LEO) and depending on the purpose of the pci, conduct walk-thrus or full out searches on sex offenders, cc pcis often include "doublebacks" to make sure they are in compliance.

a pci is a "planned compliance initiative" which is the politically correct term for "SWEEP"
