Geneseo is the only SUNY campus that doesn?t allow its officers to carry guns. Instead college President Christopher Dahl created a policy that provides fire arms through lock boxes in patrol vehicles.
Kirsten Prouty, a student at the university, said she doesn?t think it?s necessary to have a fully armed campus police force because ?I don?t like guns.?
