At least nine mayors of BSO contract cities have agreed to meet Wednesday to discuss what Cooper City Mayor Greg Ross, who called the meeting, says are “options” in dealing with an intransigent sheriff’s office. The meeting at Cooper City’s City Hall, 9090 SW 50th Pl., is to start at 1 p.m.

They hire deputies and when these Cities see that those deputies have given them their lives, health and wellbeing of themselves and their families, these cities come around threatening the deputies's career. It never ends, it appears that they want to pay when deputies are inexperienced and fresh out of the academy. The idea is for them not to pay the deputies steps or COLA increases. They don't care about safety and they only care about power and manipulation at the deputies expense. Now that inflation is making people desperate, they play with our families.

I understand they want transparency and it's a fair cry, but go about the right way, ONE OF YOU RUN AGAINST SHERIFF TONY, because I am sure you hate him more than any other Sheriff in the past and you know the reason very well. We know, you know, but run and don't expose us to that.

This is a power moved by the cities to push for something to happen. In their minds maybe this will speed up the investigation. It may work if the right people hear it.
