Apparently most of us started early and now the airport command is forced to pay OT. ALL THE STUPID RULES that Jen the clam arbitrarily imposed, rules that we didn't have to worry about before KRONOS. Well done guys, feel proud to those who are making this sacrifice. 80 an hour would not be enough for me to take a detail at the airport. It would need to be north of 100 an hour and even then I’m thinking like $157 an hour. After your risking your job by working it seriously.

Thank you for your kind words. The combination of the environment at the airport and our horrible upper management makes it impossible to go into an environment like that and expect to keep your life and career in tact. The airport environment itself is bad enough. I wouldn't consider it just based on the airport itself. Society is quickly reverting to the stone age. Political entities and billionaires are carefully pushing us toward race wars to divide us. And our command staff, the SAO and everyone else wants our head as soon as we do any aggressive police work. Breaking up a fight where a certain segment of society is involved almost guarantees you will be dragged through a couple of investigations, fired, your face plastered all over the media and labeled a "white supremecist" or a "rogue cop". You could even end up in a prison cell. I have no problem with Jenn. She takes orders from higher ups and she has to please outside customers and their wacky needs. She can be a ****ch, but that wouldn't stop me from some of the other details. But hell no to the airport. Working there just puts you a lot closer to being the next Derek Chauvin. It is 2021, after all. Let BLM handle security there.

Uh, if you've have been here long enough you would know that Lt's were not allowed to work details, they were for deputies and Sgts. Then Sgt Cady (now retired) transfers to the Port as a Lt. At the time the Port was paying overtime to deputies and Sgts. The newly promoted Lt was unable to get any Port overtime so he created the port rate for details and made it so Lt's can work details.
