Leadership has nothing to do with your rank.

Yeah we have bad people of rank. Be the leader you wish you had. Do everything you can in your sphere of influence.

Before you complain about what is wrong ask yourself what you are doing to improve it.

Embarrass bad authority figures by providing good examples of leadership from the bottom. You have some way to exercise leadership regardless of what you do. Take care of your people. Be good example to your citizens or your inmates.

Regardless, remember we salute the rank not the man.
