Commanders: PST reports directly to you. You are supposed to use them to solve problems. Too many 35s on 22ct and 28 street? Have PST 39 them and transport. People parking illegal throughout Wynwood? Have PST issue parking citations and tow vehicles in tow away zones. Fights at the Marina behind the Doubletree? Have PST start towing cars from there and taking 50s.
Instead, all you do is ask Patrol to it while you coddle the PST guys. There are more 43s in Overtown than 4300 units on the shift. If you don't know what your doing, ask a Commander that does.
