To those 67: fight the good fight. Take your experience and go to a department and city/county that will actually appreciate you all. You guys are experienced, and have a certification paid for by the city. Look at multiple agencies in Broward like Coral Springs and Plantation, topping officers out at almost 100k(annual increases, not of that city BS) and you are respected by your communities. And you can also buy back up to 5 years of service on their retirement plan so you make up time lost at MPD with many places. Coral Gables, MDPD, Beach, and others love you and your work ethic.
