As sad as this is, it’s also true, and it’s what’s wrong with BSO. The higher ranks are infected with these kind of people and it’s destroyed this place. It’s doesn’t matter whether you are competent in your job or not. If you’re not kissing ass at BSO you aren’t going anyplace.

And it’s a tragedy because the best leaders are never going to kiss anyone’s ass. This mentality has kept your best people out of the higher ranks or really any ranks at all. Anyone beyond the rank of Lt. at BSO is a pure ass kisser and many of them are as well. But not all of them thank God.
