I heard Medicaid fraud control unit does more real police work than these FDLE clowns

They have hired Public assistant fraud investigators and were so desperate they PAID to make them sworn. Essentially, making cops of people that didn't even want to be cops in the first place and/or had no motivation to go to a police academy.

And just think, some have worked their way up by kissing ass and could be YOUR boss! And with the heavy office politics, the only thing you have to do to be miserable (them trying to get rid of you) is piss one of them off.

Knowing that these non sworn personnel who "never had any ambition to become cops" (according to your knowledge of these individuals) became experts in cases that FDLE agents are too incompetent to work.

How does that make you feel? How do you go to bed at night knowing this?

What's the difference?

LEI II is a "pay band". While any agency can use the working title "special agent" the only Special Agents in statute are at FDLE and Lottery. For example ABT uses the working title of special agent but they are LEI II's for pay purposes.
FYI LEI II is the same as FHP sergeant for pay purposes.
