The current Sheriff in Franklin County ran for public office in Tallahassee as a Democrat.
He has been "supported" by Walton County Sheriff Mike Adkinson (Florida Republican) on two separate times with having the number #2 spot on the force.
Now this story from March of 2020 is making the rounds. There is a new federal prosecutor in the area that appears to be cleaning up the Good Ole' Boys, but we'll never really know...
