This is actually a very good question.

In the past, higher level promotions where given to outsiders (those coming here, mostly from Tallahassee area). Many have used our agency as a stepping stone to other political careers; ie. Graham Fountain, A.J. Smith & others.

Some others in high rank came from local areas as well as from Tally too. Some good, some bad.

It has been said and will continue to be, that Sheriff Adkinson has padded his belt with those that make him (the Sheriff) look good, as opposed to those that actually serve the community. These new promotions will be a very interesting thing to see unfold as there is an election coming...

Can we please get rid of #2?
