Local Panhandle DUI Task Force Announced. No WCSO...?

Why not? We have plenty of drunks in Walton, probably not enough patrol on the road however. We do have quite a bit of Citizen Services Vehicles with red lights.

The agencies participating in the task force are the Crestview Police Department, Fort Walton Beach Police Department, Niceville Police Department, Valparaiso Police Department, Shalimar Police Department, Northwest Florida State College Police Department, Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office, Florida Highway Patrol, Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission, 96th Security Forces Squadron at Eglin Air Force Base and 1st Special Operations Security Forces Squadron at Hurlburt Field.

All of those listed are in Okaloosa County hence the Okaloosa DUI Task Force. I doubt Okaloosa extended a invite to Walton.

They are neighboring counties and both share Eglin Properties... Wouldn't that make sense?

Or... WCSO could create their own DUI task force and include DeFuniak Springs PD.

Ha ha ha. Fat Chance. We (WCSO) are low on staff to begin with and Mikey (JB), doesn't play well with others.

JB’s mouth is his problem. It always has been and always will be. He’s not as polished or smart as his predecessor. Enough people have been put off by JB’s big mouth and arrogance that aren’t going to vote for Mikey as long as Mr. Inferiority Complex is no 2.
