So what is SI going to do to payback all these folks who lent him money for his legal bills. The special master recommends no payback. I don't think he will get the support in the senate he needs after the governors lawyers get through making their remarks. would love to know who made the loans.

If Israel gets his job back in the senate, he is entitled under Florida law to full back pay and to have his legal expenses reimubursed. That's a good question if he gets reimbursed ....... is he going to then reimburse the fatcats who gave to his legal defense fund? Or is he going to scam the money and keep it?

I thought the special master said he should get his job back but also said he should get attorney fees back. Does the special master not know the law? I don't see the senators going for the special masters ruling anyway. When the governor puts the "A" team on the job the dirt on Scott will certainly start coming out.

The "trial" part (witnesses, depositions, testimony) is over already. That was the special master part. The senate never planned to hold a trial themselves. They will just use the depos and testimony from the hearings and argue it on their own what they think it all means. They don't have to accept the master's findings, they can come up with their own, but they do need to use the sworn depos and evidence and testimony. They don't call witnesses to testify on the senate floor. DeSantis's team really flubbed this one and missed their real shot. Senators can still rule against Israel, but they will need to pull stuff out of the master's hearing transcripts and depos to do it.

Anyone have a link to the transcripts?

Hahahaha ..... senate president is telling the senators they each need to read 7,300+ pages of evidence and watch the testimony from the master hearing before next month's senate debate on Israel. From the senate president's letter to the senators last week:

"I encourage each Senator to review all of the evidence, the arguments put forth by counsel for both parties, the Special Master’s advisory report, the recommendation of the Rules Committee and debate on the floor, and draw conclusions individually. Written arguments and over 7,300 pages of evidence and depositional testimony submitted during proceedings, as well as links to recordings of the Special Master hearing, remain publicly available on the Senate website (http://www.flsenate.gov/Session/ExecutiveSuspensions). Additionally, there are 23 pages of confidential documents from the Governor’s exhibit “R” (“Internal Investigation File for Deputy Treijs”),which are available for inspection only by Senators. To inspect these documents, please contact Christie Letarteat 850-487-5575."

I am no fan of mumbles but legally he was improperly removed. It was purely politically motivated. If anyone is responsible for what happened at MSD, it was runcie. But, he is black so he got a pass. Desantis is not going to dig up dirt on mumbles because there is much more dirt that can be dug up on that imbecile that desantis appointed. Scott will be back at the helm shortly but hopefully will be voted out in 2020.

Just because you say that doesn't make it so. When the senators listen to Israel indict himself in his deposition he is finished once and for all. This guy failed us as well as the public. Bye Scott

If you remember Israel surprised everyone and did really well on the stand with his answers. That was part of what the special master considered in the ruling.

Hi Scotty. I see your narcissism is still the same as it was before. You'll never change, and you're always gonna be viewed as a putz.

Scott's lawyers are laughing all the way to the bank. They have convinced Scott to mortgage his future with loans from big donors. He will end up in very big trouble when the loans get called in. Nobody loans money to people out of the kindness of their heart. Scott Israel is compromised because he sold his soul.

No loans. All donations to his legal defense fund that Israel properly reported to the state as gifts. He doesn't owe anyone a penny back from the money his donors gave.

Call it what you want but nobody donates nothing for FREE...I am sure his donor’s obviously think he has a chance to get back into office so by donating there is something in it for them. It’s called the price of doing business you take a chance for a payday or you lose and move on..it’s just like gambling.

Anyone else asking themselves how Scott could possibly think he is competent? This guy needs a team of lawyers to defend himself from accusations of incompetence. The special master basically said the governors lawyer just needed to an avg job and this case was a slam dunk. Let's suspend the Governors lawyer!

DeSantis should pay all of Scott's legal fees. Scott
Israel will get his back pay in full and all what's due to him. We love ya Scott!!!
