This is insane. Did any of you see the clip on the news of President Trump meeting the National Sheriffs Association group at the White House yesterday? Nearly every sheriff was wearing five stars. One bozo - some guy on the side with a cowboy mustache that appears near the end of the video - has six stars on each side of his collar. The guy in the brown uniform front row is wearing five stars in General of the Army (General Eisenhower/General MacArthur style). What is happening to the sheriffs? They've all become crazy egomaniacs.

Just want to air out the fact that I HATE press conferences for this reason. So many bodies crammed in the background for no reason since not everyone is speaking. Having that many people in the background only serves as a distraction and does nothing but take away from the whole point of the conference being held in the first place.

Their are no and absolutely no law enforcement officers giving the rank of 5 star. It's it reserved to military officers that served in combat on WW2. It's not given to a law enforcement or police officer. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Being interesting to see the individual 67 Florida Sheriffs and what their rank insignia they wear is. Probably tells a lot about them

There’s a difference between being proud and being arrogant. You know it when you see it. Usually, the people who are arrogant are less capable and less intelligent. It’s an act to make up for a lack of substance in narcissistic personalities. This place is FUBAR.

I am going to have 1 more star custom made the size of the Captain America shield to have my secretary carry over my head at all times. This will look great with the 6 stars I have on each collar and again across my bulging chest. Placed over every medal the agency has and some others I found that look cool.
