Every September I would find my way to the county hall building, take my time gazing at the names of the fallen officers, read the posters again, and pay my respect to those who have died in the line of duty.
Yesterday I did what I had done for years only to find no more tribute.
How could we not honor our fallen? And, not just at the police memorial. That’s why I loved that something was being done in addition to the Tropical Park ceremony. How could the PBA cancel this tribute that had such an impact when you visual those figures right in front of your face?
I hope the PBA reconsiders and returns to paying this tribute to our brothers and sisters.
