The good old boys network in Manatee County is well known as one of the corrupt law enforcement agencies that ever was. From the days of the days of their infamous Delta Squad getting sentenced to federal prison to the shooting death of a black man last year to recent stories of corrections officers beating inmates who are handcuffed. They say whatever they want. They do whatever they want. There is absolutely no accountability. I am sure there might be a few good ones out there, but I guarantee you they are few and far between.
