Yes we do to about 25 mile radius of the department at no cost to the employee. We are not currently hiring, however we are expecting new positions in October and have people in the process of leaving so get your application in now. Starting pay is low but we have a step plan with extra steps for experience and plenty of overtime. Comp time can be paid out and most employees make 10k + more then base pay. There is night shift differential and holiday pay. Health insurance is free for the employee with family plans available at a fee and deductables are low. Call volume is slow, leaving plenty of time to be proactive. US HWY 19 offers a buffet of street crime while the neighborhoods to the west maintain a small town fishing village feel.
